1 twist drill Ø 6.2 mm
+ 1 hand tap DIN 352 HSS M 6 x 1.0

+ 5 threaded bushings Height = 1.0 x Ø / Height = 1.5 x Ø / Height = 2.0 x Ø

1. Drill:
First drill out the damaged thread with a RUKO twist drill. It must be taken into account that
larger bores are needed in thread forming devices. check
that the tap and the threaded stud of the ProCoil set have the same thread and pitch.

2. Tapping:
Now the new retaining thread is cut with a tap in the drilled hole.
The use of cutting oil is recommended.

3. Mounting the threaded bushing:
Insert the bushing into the screwing tool. Make sure the spike of
retainer seats in the groove opening and the snap ring is snug. Now turn
the threaded bushing in the direction of the thread by exerting light pressure.
Attention: DO NOT turn in the opposite direction, the pin may break.

4. Pin breakage:
Remove the driving tool and break the retaining pin with the breaking mandrel
of spikes. The new ProCoil threaded sleeve thread is now ready to use.
