Unitized Wheel 115 - T27

Non-woven compressed disc with a fiberglass backing plate, made from compressed layers of abrasive cloth and resin. It is used in angle grinders to prepare surfaces for painting. Easily removes marks from previous processes and reduces the roughness of the piece. Allows for a high-gloss finish without the need for abrasive pastes.

Applications:

Series 500-Soft density:
General stripping, rust removal, pre-painting stripping.
Polishing of soft metals prior to applying layers.

Series 600-Medium density:
Polishing after removing weld beads, casting and turning parts. Polishing and finishing of surgical instruments. Polishing of cast aluminum, copper and bronze.
Touch-up of stainless steel surgical instruments, rolling defects and machining. Removal of flashes on injected plastic parts.

Series 700-Medium-hard density:
Stripping: Removal of strong deposits, oxidation of aluminum, brass plating on steel tubes, discoloration in welds.
Deburring: Removal of burrs in punched holes in stainless steel, marks from 80 grit abrasive on nickel alloys and 100 grit on aluminum, reflections. Deburring of gears (edges on turbines and propellers).

Series 800-Hard density:
Polishing of welds on stainless steel sinks and basins, machined surfaces, hand tools, round tubes.
